Jeff is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and former member of the musical group Mercury Rev. In over a decade with the band, Jeff was an integral part in the writing, performance, recording and production of numerous critically acclaimed recordings. As a member of the band, he also contributed music for the CBS hit series C.S.I., SHOWTIME's This American Life and also scored the feature length film, Bye Bye Blackbird.

Now also working independently, Jeff has just completed the original score for Paul S. Myers' second feature, 5 Shells. Other recent film work includes:

Marvin, an animated short film by Mark Nute, with narration by Steve Coogan. Most recently the film was part of a special program in association with Channel 4 at the Encounters International Film Festival in Bristol, UK . Look for Marvin at more festivals around Europe & the UK this spring. Daniel is an extended short film written & directed by Alain Furcajg. The film was an official selection at: Provincetown International Film Festival (Provincetown, MA - June 2010), Terror Film Festival (Philadelphia, PA - October 21-23 - WINNER BEST HORROR SHORT), Sacramento Horror Film Festival (October 21-24) and Big Apple Film Festival (New York, NY - November 2-6). Peripheral City is a dramatic web-series, written & directed by Amanda Cole. Web episodes 1-4 are now streaming online.

Jeff also regularly contributes original music for the RISK! - True Tales Boldly Told pod-cast (created & hosted by Kevin Allison of MTV's "The State") and Hooked On The Fly, an environmentally-conscious, forward-thinking television series about fly-fishing (seen on Sportsman Channel, Untamed Sports, Wild TV and Outside Television). When he's not in his studio in Brooklyn, Jeff can be found fly-fishing the legendary streams of the Catskill Mountains.
